The sensors are used to detect the occupancy of parking spaces through timely reporting of arriving and departing vehicles, thus providing parking managers with efficient parking analysis and optimization.
The sensor also supports the monitoring of the fill level of medium or large bins, such as regular municipal bins. With an ultrasonic sensor to detect overflowing waste, a built-in three-axis accelerometer to detect the condition of the bin lid and a built-in NTC thermistor to detect waste burning.
